3 card poker odds and hands.

3-card poker is a card game, the goal of which is to collect the highest possible poker combination, higher than that of the casino dealer.

The game involves a deck of 52 cards from deuce to ace in each of the four suits. The highest card in a suit is an ace, the lowest is a two. The deck is shuffled before each deal.

3 card poker combinations.

  • Straight Flush – Straight of the same suit
  • Three of a Kind – 3 cards of the same rank, for example, 9-9-9
  • Street – 3 consecutive cards, for example, 9-8-7. The suits of the cards do not matter. Ace can be either the highest (T-K-D) or the lowest card of the combination (3-2-T). A sequence with an ace inside (2-T-K) does not count as a straight.
  • Flush – 3 cards of the same suit.
  • Pair – two cards of the same rank, for example, 8-8-K.

Priorities are not established between the suits. Therefore, two layouts of cards, pairwise of the same rank, have the same value. For example, a Royal Flush of Hearts and a Royal Flush of Clubs are equivalent.

After evaluating the alignment, the player must make a choice. Here you can make one of three decisions:

Decision 1. Give up immediately. The player clicks on the “Refuse” button, the ANTE bet is immediately lost, the game is over.

Solution 2. Continue the game.
If the player decides to continue playing on the available cards, then he clicks on the “Play” button, while the main bet, equal to the initial bet in the ANTE box, is made automatically. This procedure is sometimes referred to as raising the rate.

If the dealer has no game, your ANTE bet is paid 1: 1. If the dealer “plays”, then if you lose you lose your bets in both boxes, and if you win, each bet will be paid 1: 1. In addition, there is a prize payout in 3-card poker at the ANTE rate, but it can be claimed by receiving one of the three highest poker combinations:

  • Straight flush 4: 1
  • Three of a kind 3: 1
  • Straight 1: 1

It is essential that you will receive this payment regardless of the dealer’s cards. He has a “game” or he “does not play”, a combination that is older or younger than yours has come to him – the prize payment is guaranteed to you. However, there are no additional payments at the BET rate.

Before the cards are dealt in 3-card poker, along with the ANTE bet (and even instead of it), you can make another bet, which is called (P +) PAIR-PLUS. The corresponding game pieces are placed in a circle above the ANTE box – in a standard oasis, they place bets on the bonus here. Indeed, the PAIR-PLUS bet is a lot like a bonus bet: in fact, the player makes a bet that a meaningful combination will come to his hands. The size of this bet has nothing to do with the size of the ANTE bet. The range of both bets at the gaming table is the same (for example, If you receive an empty combination, the PAIR-PLUS bet is immediately lost. The same fate will befall you if you decide to refuse to raise the ANTE bet on a meaningful combination (in fact, such a refusal is extremely unprofitable). But in all other cases, your bet will be paid regardless of the cards that went to the dealer. The table of ratios most often looks like this:

  • Straight flush 40: 1
  • Three of a kind 20: 1
  • Straight 5: 1
  • Flush 4: 1
  • Pair 1: 1 The maximum payout of a table in 3-card poker is not set – how much you win, so much you get.
